Standing Off Your DemonsOriginal photo credits go to the guy in the picture. Used Jasc PSP8 and Corel Painter 9. I guess one might as well just title it 'Emo', but hey. I cropped the photo a lot, and removed some parts of the photo that would've considerably affected the composition. filtered it, played with the contrast and lighting, tinted it. etc. So, whiel the subject and overall picture is really rather cliche, I'd appreciate comments/crits. besides the floor, I know that looks a little wack.

i quite like it. the colors are pretty well done. and the composition is strong. cut into threes and all. if you know what i mean. the carpet kinda bothers me for some reason. is it like... a rainbow or something?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Remove the carpet and I think it'd be a much better work. It feels like it might be trying to contrast, but in the end it just kind of clashes. In a bad way.

other than the already mentioned small issues with the clashing carpet and the "wack" part of the floor, i like it a lot! great idea.

I figured I'd jsut totally fuck up the photograph if I removed the weird carpet. I could probably have darkened it, though, so that it didn't provide such a stark contrast.

Goddamn, you're skinny.
I love the color tone to it. I wouldn't call it really THAT emo, more just a little spookeh.
