Is it jsut me, or does he sound liek he's garglnig mucus while he sings, or osmething?
anyway, I'd probably be insulted, too, if I were Iceland. or any other country who competed against that and lost.
either way, serious props to finland.

I've never even heard their music, but I'm still super pumped that they won, especially after they almost got kicked out.

Well it's definately a big kick in the face to European pop music. That a heavy metal band who dress like the undead/aliens/orcs/whatever and sound like a shitty version of Kiss would WIN.
If I were Finland, I don't know whether I'd be embarassed or proud..

I'd probably start rocking out on the rest of Europe and shoving it in there faces the fuckin Lordi won.

Now I'm embarrassed that I enjoy some J-Pop.

my friend brought in some j-pop to our art class one time. we sat there and made fun of it. but then again, we make fun of pretty much anything that goes in that cd player. and tanner, the girl that brought it in, is japanese. we kept asking her what they were saying. were horrible.

Well, it's not that having a diverse taste is bad. And I'm assuming that, technically, j-pop must have musical credibility, I mean, it's not like an entire genre can suck entirely.
It's just that I cannot really stand more than one or two j-pop songs in one sitting.
