Roald Dahl. I don't care if he's known for his children's books. They're great, but his books for adults are the most amazing things I've ever read. Love him. i totally agree

Yes, those are probably his two most popular books, but most of his adult books (or ones that I know of) are compilations of his short stories. I've read: Kiss Kiss, Switch Bitch, and The Umbrella Man and Other Stories, and I know there are others out there that I just haven't been able to get my hands on yet, but the ones I've read were quite amazing. I just love his subjects and the way he writes and most of his stories take place in England so they have that great British way about them, I don't know... I've just fallen in love with his writing over the years.

I had no idea he wrote adult books. I will probably actually go to a library and see about reading some of his short stories.
